I, um, 'acquired' the new Bloc Party album, Silent Alarm the other day. It is fucking rad. 'Like Eating Glass' is one of the best track one, side ones ever. They will be huge. Hugh, even. Hopefullly they will find someway to kill and then desecrate the still warm bodies of Franz Ferdinandzzzzzzz whilst becoming hugh.
I would be a really happy man if somehow Bloc Party, Spoon and the Arcade Fire became as big as radiohead circa 2000.
I'm sure I'm late to the Bloc Party praise fest, I know. But they're good.
